Ingredients

For 8 people:

  • Turkey

  • Butter

  • Coconut Milk, 6fl oz (250ml)

  • 6 apples

  • Beef mince, 17,63oz (500g)

  • White rum, 0.17fl oz (5ml)

  • White mushrooms, 17oz (450ml)

  • Raisins seedless, 4oz (125g)

  • 1 onion

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • 1 garlic

  • Water

Recipe

In a bowl put the raisins with the rum.

Peel the apples, onion and garlic.

Remove the core from the apples. Cut the apples and mushrooms, onion and garlic into pieces.

In a skillet, melt butter. Once the butter has melted, brown the onion and garlic pieces. Set aside.

In a frying pan, brown the minced meat, add the coconut milk, apples, mushrooms, raisins, garlic and onion pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Combine.

Add a little water and cook for a few minutes.

In a buttered baking dish, place the turkey and stuff it with some of the contents of the pan.

Place the rest of the contents of the pan around the turkey.

Bake for 1 hour and a half - about 2 hours.
